isticates Hair, Reader’s Digest, Black Woman, Hype Hair, Upscale, Woman’s World, Ebony, Hairstyling Trends, and many more. LaRon is forward thinking with an incredible ability to listen actively. This philosophy has led many a Hollywood starlets seeking a part in his scheduling book. For instance, in the early 90’s actress Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon learned of LaRon’s work through the “celebrity grapevine” and became one of his first celebrity clients. As a result of the “celebrity grapevine” LaRon has worked his magic on Monique, Pat Smith, Donna Richarson-Joyner, Eve, Alanis Morissette, Diane Carroll, Judge Hatchett, Rosario Dawson, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Vanessa L. Williams, and Lisa Bonet to name a few. A product of the American South, LaRon is known for styling with a straightening comb. He has expanded on fellow Louisiana native, Madame C.J. Walker’s, straightening comb invention with a process he calls thermal texturizing. Far more than your grandmother’s press and curl, LaRon mixes old and new technologies. By combining the proven methods of the straightening comb with the skillful manipulation of a flat iron, LaRon is able to seal the cuticle of the hair to achieve results without sacrificing the health and vitality of delicate hair strands. In 2003, LaRon ventured out on his own, relocated to Dallas Texas, from Los Angeles, Ca. and in 2007 opened Xhemistry The Salon. Today, you can find him a graciously mentoring countless young stylists, colorists, future salon owners, and meeting the needs of his clientele.".
